SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Unknown Pattern Clothing
This policy governs how orders are processed, shipped, tracked, and delivered. By placing an
order, you accept all terms below without exception.
1. ORDER PROCESSING & FULFILLMENT
All orders undergo a defined processing phase before shipment.
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.
Processing includes:
• Order verification
• Quality check
• Packaging
• Courier handover preparation
Definition of “Working Days”
Working days are defined as:
Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.
No processing occurs on weekends or public holidays.
Cut-Off Times
Orders placed after 14:00 (2PM SAST) are processed on the next working day.
This cut-off determines the start of the fulfilment cycle. Any order placed after this time is not
considered same-day processing.
Warehouse vs Courier Time Separation
There is a clear operational distinction:
• Warehouse Processing Time = internal preparation before dispatch
• Courier Transit Time = delivery handled externally by logistics partners
Once a parcel leaves our facility, control shifts entirely to the courier network.
2. LOCAL SHIPPING (SOUTH AFRICA)
We use established South African courier networks selected based on route efficiency and
service coverage.
Delivery timeframe:
3–5 working days (estimated, not guaranteed)
Delivery speed depends on:
• Location
• Courier routing efficiency
• Regional logistics conditions
3. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders are shipped via Express (or equivalent international courier service
depending on destination and availability).
Delivery timeframe:
7–14 working days (subject to customs clearance)
International transit is not fully controlled by us once the parcel enters border clearance systems.
4. TRACKING INFORMATION
Every order is assigned a tracking number.
Tracking availability clause
Tracking is provided where available and supported by the assigned courier
system.
Tracking activation may not be immediate.
Courier discretion clause
Tracking updates are fully dependent on courier scanning systems and operational discretion. We
do not control scan frequency, scan timing, or tracking visibility.
System delay disclaimer
Tracking may experience delays due to:
• Courier system processing lag
• Route scanning delays
• Warehouse handover batching
• Network congestion
Tracking is not a real-time reflection of parcel movement.
Official Tracking Portal
All tracking updates are accessible via: https://www.unknownpatternclothing.com/a/track
5. DELIVERY TIME DISCLAIMER
All delivery timelines provided are estimates only.
We do not guarantee exact delivery dates due to reliance on third-party courier networks.
Delays may occur due to:
• Regional courier backlog
• Weather disruptions
• High seasonal volume
• Logistics infrastructure limitations
• Customs processing (international orders)
6. LEGAL PROTECTION CLAUSE (OPERATIONAL
LIABILITY LIMITATION)
By purchasing from Unknown Pattern Clothing, you acknowledge and accept the following:
We are not responsible for:
• Delayed tracking activation
• Courier system outages or downtime
• Missing scan events during transit
• Incomplete tracking updates
• Courier misrouting or internal delays
These are operational realities of third-party logistics systems and fall outside our control.
7. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES & INTERNATIONAL
CLEARANCE
All international orders are subject to destination country customs laws.
Refusal of Delivery due to unpaid customs
If a customer refuses or fails to pay customs duties:
• The parcel may be held, returned, or destroyed by customs authorities
• We are not responsible for recovery or reimbursement
Delays caused by customs
We are not liable for:
• Customs inspection delays
• Border clearance hold-ups
• Import verification processes
These are governed entirely by government authorities.
Abandonment of parcel rules
If a parcel is:
• Unclaimed
• Unpaid for (duties/taxes)
• Rejected by the recipient
It may be classified as abandoned by customs or courier systems.
In such cases:
• No refund will be issued
• No replacement will be sent
• The order is considered fulfilled once dispatched
Return-to-sender cost liability
If a parcel is returned to origin due to:
• Incorrect address
• Refused delivery
• Unpaid customs
• Failed delivery attempts
The customer is responsible for:
• Return shipping fees
• Re-dispatch costs
• Any additional courier charges
8. RISK TRANSFER
Responsibility for the order transfers from Unknown Pattern Clothing to the courier at the
moment the parcel is scanned and accepted into the courier network.
From that point forward:
• Delivery performance
• Transit time
• Handling conditions
are controlled entirely by the courier service.
9. LOST, DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED PARCELS
In cases of:
• Missing parcels
• Extended delays
• Suspended tracking
Investigations must be conducted through the courier network.
Resolution timelines depend on courier claim procedures and are outside of internal control.
10. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are fully responsible for:
• Providing accurate delivery details
• Ensuring availability at delivery address
• Monitoring tracking information
• Responding to courier delivery attempts
Incorrect or incomplete address details will result in delivery failure at the customer’s expense.
FINAL STATEMENT
Once an order is placed, it enters a structured logistics system governed by third-party courier
operations, not individual control.
We execute fulfilment.
Couriers execute delivery.
External systems define speed, tracking, and movement.
That is the reality of modern logistics—and it governs all orders without exception.
